The forgotten

This time of year i like to throw out a prayer for the forgotten, in particular the homeless, most of us enjoy a pretty happy comfortable life, we are extravagant in our hobbys and passions
Regardless of why, there is no reason for a single American Citizen to be homeless , we are a compassionate and generous country, we need to be more compassionate and generous to our homless brothers and sisters
For this i pray, Amen

My wife and I went backpacking for two years without any backup and only a few bucks to start off and get out of town. We know what it feels like to live without. I left my comfortable world before but for her it was a brand new thing. On foot with backpacks, basic fishing and survival gear, Guitar and Charango. No credit card and n bank account. Call it crazy if you want but we came out on top afterwards with a new way of looking at people. All people. May God have mercy on us all for being so feelingless to those who have less. I plan to write a long story, but not here. We always found a little job or a big one somewhere and ate lots of fresh fish but never had to beg.
