SR 40 not feeding

I have a Ruger 40SRC that is not feeding correctly. I feed the first round fine and than it jams. It is a newer pistol with maybe two hundred rounds through it. After close inspection, it look like the fireing pin is protruding to catch the lip of the rim. It will happen 3 to 4 times per mag and than correct itself. Put in a new mag and it starts all over again. I don’t think I am limp wristing it.

GT Morrow is our resident gunsmith, you might want to bounce that one off him. I’d suspect the protruding firing pin, too. It doesn’t appear to be mag related. Have you tried different brands of ammo?

Maddog yes fed, win, Hornady. I will try GT just thought I would start with the Ruger link first to see if anyone had any ideas.
Thank you Sir

You’re welcome, sir. My son has an SR9c and doesn’t have that protruding firing pin. But you’re right, somebody will likely (hopefully) chime in.
