Non-Carbide Resize Die Set Up

Raise the ram all the way up to top dead center. Thread the die body downward until the die makes contact with the shell holder. Once contact is made, lower the ram and turn the die downward about 1/8" of a turn. Run the ram back up so the shell holder makes firm contact with the mouth of the die. This is called cam-over. Tighten the die lock ring. Lee presses do not apply cam-over, they go by feel. For turret presses you may need slightly more cam-over to fully eliminate play within the turret.
